Fun and Free race to fill in the break.

FYC gave up the Midsummer Series to WSSC for makeup races since WNATR got started late this year due to COVID. We just heard there is no race tomorrow and can t let that happen since we are the keepers of the Midsummer Series! Please sign up on Noticeofrace.net and let us know you plan to race. This will be a fun and free race that is complete CAOS! Why is it CAOS you ask? Well... here is our plan. 1 start for all classes and all boats. It will be a massive starting line, don t worry... why not? Scoring will be unique too, it will be a team race of sorts. The way it works is club with the total lowest points in finishes wins. Award TBD. You are racing for your yacht club and not just yourself! You must let us know if you are a member of multiple clubs who you are racing for. (The total number of boats we count will be based off of the club with the lowest number of entries. For Example, if WSSC enters 3 boats in JAM and FYC and GIYC have 5 each, we will only count the 3 best finishing boats from each club in JAM.)
Plan on racing spinnaker course 5 from WNATR, That is start at N, Es, Wp, Sp, Finish back at N. 5.6 nm total.
