2023 JRSC Fall Series

The JRSC Fall Series is open to the Catalina 22 Class, Interlake Class, Wayfarer Class, all PHRF boats (with valid PHRF-LE certificate), and all JAM boats (with valid PHRF-LE certificate). A minimum of three boats will constitute a class. There will be two venues. Yachts participating in the PHRF or JAM Classes will race a roughly windward/leeward course using the fixed North Cape Yacht Club marks. Catalina 22’s, Interlakes, and Wayfarers will race in the Ottawa River and Bay, with the starting line just off of the JRSC docks. Registration will take place at the Skipper’s Meeting. Class splits, class flags, and specific Sailing Instructions will be announced at the Skipper’s Meeting and posted online at www.noticeofrace.net. The Race Committee will monitor Channel 71.
Registration fee $40 per boat (includes dinner for skipper & crew)

Friday, August 25
1900: Registration & Skipper’s Meeting (Jolly Roger Sailing Club)
Saturday, August 26 (PHRF & JAM; starting line at the NCYC Center Mark)
0955: First Warning Signal
1000: JAM Class B Start (blank start if necessary)
1005: JAM Class A Start
1010: PHRF Class B Start (blank start if necessary)
1015: PHRF Class A Start
Races 2-3-4 to follow immediately after each class finishes. One
completed race will constitute a series. No starts after 1500.
