1 RULES
1.1 This event will be governed by the ‘rules’ as defined in 2009-2012 The Racing Rules of Sailing (RRS).
1.2 The prescriptions of the United States Sailing Association (US Sailing) national authority will apply.
1.3 Boat and sail measurements will not be taken.
2 ELIGIBILITY AND ENTRY
2.1 The event is open to all Force 5 sailors
2.2 DEADLINE FOR ENTRY IS WEDNESDAY AUGUST, 15th
3 FEES
3.1. The cost of the regatta is $30 which includes food after racing. US Sailing members may take a $5 discount.
4 SCHEDULE
4.1 Saturday Aug 18th will be a fleet racing format
4.3 Skipper’s meeting Saturday at 1100
4.4 The warning signal for the both days is 1200.
5 SAILING INSTRUCTIONS
5.1 The sailing instructions will be available prior to the event.
6 THE COURSES
6.1 Windward/Leeward Triangle
6.2 Windward/Leeward
6.3 See sailing instructions for course details.
7 RESULTS
7.1 Results will be posted as soon as possible following racing.
7.2 Lowest point total in final places will be used as overall.
8 DISCLAIMER OF LIABILITY
8.1 Competitors participate in the races entirely at their own risk. See RRS Rule 4, Decision to Race. The organizing authority will not
accept any liability for material damage or personal injury
