RULES.
Except as modified by the sailing instructions, the sailing and management of this race will be governed by the Racing Rules of Sailing (RRS), the prescriptions of US SAILING, & the rules of the PHRF-LE class.
ENTRY.
This race is open to all single-hulled yachts whose skippers are members of a yacht club. The entry fee is $30.00. A completed entry form, entry fee, and a current rating certificate must be received at the starting-end boat club no later than Saturday, June 22rd 8:00 a.m.
SKIPPER S MEETING.
Meeting will be held Saturday, June 22rd, at 8:30 a.m. by the outdoor grill at the club hosting the race. Class splits will be available at the end of the meeting.
START.
The race will be started using RRS Rule 26, with classes starting in five-minute intervals using this sequence:
Class Shape Time Sound
JAM -Warning Yellow Raised 10:25 a.m. Horn
JAM- Start Yellow Lowered, White Raised 10:30 a.m. Horn
Spinnaker- Start White Lowered 10:35 a.m. Horn
COURSE.
This is a fixed mark course to be sailed, by all classes, as follows:
If the flag is Red:
Leave all marks to Port. The Start is WSSC N race buoy (42° 02.80’ N 83° 06 .479’ W), then proceed to W Outer (G “1W” Fl G 6 s), proceed to E Outer (R 2 Q R – Quick Red), Finish between the mast of the yacht flying the RC flag and the WSSC N race buoy (42° 02.80’ N 83° 06 .479’ W).
If the flag is Green:
Leave all marks to Starboard. The Start is WSSC N race buoy (42° 02.80’ N 83° 06 .479’ W), then proceed to E Outer (R 2 Q R – Quick Red), proceed to W Outer (G“1W” Fl G 6 s). Finish between the mast of the yacht flying the RC flag and the WSSC N race buoy (42° 02.80’ N 83° 06 .479’ W).
